I'm starting a list of reasons, websites and peer reviewed literature that supports the construction of a wetland at the confluence of SDC and HPER ditch. My thinking is that this should be separate from the hydrology and geomorphology. By looking into how the wetland benefits the entire JMNR we will have a more solid platform for moving the restoration forward.
Additionally, this should provide quick reference info and aid us in completing our final report. It should be easy, when coming across something in your research, to add a comment with a web link to a paper or website. And maybe just a short phrase about how it supports the topic.
